March Lust List

As I wrote in my last blog post, this month has been such a crazy, whirlwind month for me.  I have so much to look forward to, including molding my fashion viewpoint.  For the last few weeks of this month I have been focused on building my professional wardrobe.  Since I will be standing quite a bit in my new job, I have specifically been looking for comfortable yet fashionable shoes.  I say all this to preface this months lust list.  Many of the items that I have been lusting over for this month are more work appropriate than I would typically lean towards.

Express Dress

Calvin Klein Skirt

I tried this skirt on earlier this month but the smallest size they had in store didn't fit.  The skirt was really classy and totally work appropriate, so I'm hoping I can get it sometime soon!

Richard Nicoll Skirt

This skirt is an amazing statement piece like I've never seen before.  Oddly enough the way it is constructed doesn't make the bright neon color appear too obnoxious.

Express Pants - Purchased

Immediately when I found out about my job offer I started looking for dress pants.  After I purchased these I decided to hem them since I am about 5' and wanted them to fit like ankle pants, the way they appear on the model.  I am absolutely in love with the pants and would recommend them to anyone who likes them.

ASOS Sequined Skirt

This month I was able to purchase this sequined skirt from ASOS!  When I found out about my grad school acceptance, I decided to treat myself to this amazing piece.  I recently received it and am absolutely in love with this piece!

When I found out about my new job offer, I rewarded myself with this beautiful pair of shoes.  I really love them and think they will complement my summer wardrobe very well.


Shopping this month has been fun, but I feel that there are still many staple pieces that I need to fill in the holes of my wardrobe.  I focused on bottoms and comfortable shoes this month.  Maybe next month I will be in the mood to buy some tops and accessories.
